Hassan Hatu Sheikh

Hassan Hatu Sheikh is the Founder and CEO of CoinTerminal and a recognized Web3 leader since 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Economics, and Business from Stony Brook University.  

Hatu has played a pivotal role in shaping on-chain fundraising infrastructure, helping projects collectively raise hundreds of millions of dollars while building resilient communities that maintained engagement through volatile market cycles.  

Hatu Sheikh has advised many notable projects including StepApp, Inspect, XCad Network, Polkastarter, GameFi, and Primal, helping teams refine tokenomics, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.  

At CoinTerminal, he built the first truly open-access launchpad, removing token gating and mandatory staking, introducing refundable sales, and connecting projects with 650,000+ global investors. Hatu continues to drive innovation in Web3, democratising fundraising and access to investment opportunities worldwide.

Chief Technology Officer

Patrick Carey

Patrick Carey is Chief Technology Officer at CoinTerminal, overseeing technical architecture, engineering strategy, and systems development. He holds a BEng in Software Engineering and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, and brings over two decades of experience building financial systems and enterprise solutions across banking and blockchain sectors.

Before CoinTerminal, Patrick worked in senior technical roles at some of the largest financial institutions in the world, focusing on large-scale systems, engineering integration, and secure transaction design.

At CoinTerminal, he ensures platform reliability, smart contract integration, and scalable token launch mechanics, supporting hundreds of thousands of users and millions in distributed value. Patrick continues to shape the future of Web3, combining his TradFi expertise with decentralised innovation to build secure and fair startup funding infrastructure for the next generation of crypto projects.

Head of Sales

Maximiliano Stochyk

Maximiliano Stochyk is Head of Sales at CoinTerminal, where he leads B2B sales, fundraising strategy, and go-to-market initiatives for Web3 projects preparing token launches.

Active in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem since 2014, Maximiliano specialises in building scalable sales processes, structuring fundraising campaigns, and advising founders on execution strategy for early-stage capital raises.

He manages engagement with founders, partners, and strategic stakeholders, helping teams align their fundraising structures to market expectations and scale participation through transparent launch mechanics. Maxi has participated in multiple seven-figure fundraising deals and helped his sales team earn over $400K in performance bonuses.

Maximiliano regularly works with project teams to optimise token launch readiness and growth planning, bridging founders with capital and providing strategic guidance for successful global Web3 fundraising.
