As the first and only open-access launchpad, CoinTerminal is constantly exploring ways to improve the user experience, making early-stage participation more accessible and intuitive.

Effective immediately, users no longer need to complete KYC before or during contribution periods on any IDO sale. You can now connect your wallet and contribute instantly; no upfront identity verification is required.

KYC will only be required when you claim your tokens:

-For contributions up to $5,000: upload your ID and complete a selfie (liveness check).
-For contributions above $5,000: upload your ID and proof of address via BlockPass.

This change makes participation faster, smoother, and fully compliant,  giving every user an open, fair, and transparent experience from the moment they connect their wallet.

First IDO Under the New Policy

The first project to benefit from this update is Adix AI, launching later today. Adix AI introduces an innovative solution for the Shop & Earn economy, a global market valued at over $30 trillion.

Check it out now on CoinTerminal, connect your wallet, and join the sale in just a few clicks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I still need to complete KYC?
Yes, but only at the token claim stage. The full KYC process will still be handled by BlockPass, just as before, only delayed until after contributions.
What exactly do I need to upload?
You’ll need to upload (scan) your ID card and complete a selfie (liveness check) to verify your identity.
Can I just enter my ID number instead of uploading it?
No. A photo or scan of your ID and a selfie are required for proper verification.
Is BlockPass still used for KYC?
Yes. BlockPass remains CoinTerminal’s official KYC provider.
What about purchases above $5,000?
For contributions over $5,000, users must complete full KYC via BlockPass, including ID and proof of address, to comply with international regulations.
