CoinTerminal was delighted to visit Vietnam, with Ho Chi Minh City offering a vibrant backdrop for innovation and collaboration.
The city’s fast-growing tech scene brought together crypto investors, builders, and enthusiasts to exchange ideas and explore new opportunities shaping the future of Web3.
The event was part of opening into new spaces, and Vietnam is one of the locations that has much to offer in terms of creators and developers.
On May 26, 2025, we gathered with enthusiasts, dreamers, developers, and curious minds at Vibas Coffee for CoinTerminal’s very first meetup in Vietnam. We chose this spot because it had the perfect vibe for a summer evening, open-air, full of plants, fresh, and ideal for intimate gatherings where ideas could flow.
From the moment people walked in, the energy was high. We had tropical drinks, cake, and time to chat and connect. Just like the city itself, the people were fast-moving, full of life, warm, and rich in stories. That same rhythm ran through every part of our meetup.
We opened with a simple round of introductions. Who we are, why Web3 matters to us, and how we’re each part of this ecosystem, whether as curious students or individuals already working on blockchain projects. We were honestly impressed to see how many people were actively building in the space. That sense of pride and shared vision was real.
After that, our team stepped up, and our Vietnam rep, Brian, led the way. He walked everyone through who we are at CoinTerminal, our mission, and how we work. We discussed what sets us apart and how we support users, whether they’re new to crypto or seasoned veterans, to invest more safely, intelligently, and with fewer barriers.
What made this session so special was not just that we got together, but what happened when we did. People showed up after a long Monday, ready to think, ask real questions, and have honest conversations. We were blown away by the depth of the discussion.
People wanted to know why CoinTerminal is interested in Vietnam, what developers gain from launching through our platform, how long the review process takes, what the minimum requirements are, which kinds of projects are prioritized, and how our launchpad can deliver stronger returns compared to others.
