The CoinTerminal team had the pleasure of hosting a meeting for the crypto community in Istanbul, Turkey. This event aligns with amplifying voices in the Web3 space and exchanging experiences to make early-stage investment truly accessible to the community.
The event created a space for creators, developers, and crypto entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and experiences.

CoinTerminal hosted a community meetup coinciding with Istanbul Blockchain Week. The event took place at Chez Moi Café in Istanbul on June 24, 2025. It lasted from late afternoon into the evening, gathering more than 60 attendees from Turkey and other regions.
The goal of the event was to explain how CoinTerminal supports early crypto investing through its open-access model. This includes features such as a fully refundable sales model, no token gating, no staking requirements, and the new lottery system.
The Turkish CoinTerminal team presented key aspects of these features and answered common questions about the projects we host, the safety mechanisms in place, and how we select and launch new opportunities.

The Turkish CoinTerminal team opened a space for discussion by first explaining our foundation as a platform with an open-access model.
The team shared that our core mission is to remove barriers to investing, making it easier and more inclusive for everyone.
From that point, we explained that the first priority is to facilitate the user experience on the platform.
We have designed a very intuitive interface where, in just a few steps, simply by connecting your wallet, you can start participating in early crypto investing.
There is no KYC, no staking, and no token gating required.
All of this is designed to make access as simple and seamless as possible.
We also understand that investors need confidence, which is why we offer a refundable sales model as a standard for the vast majority of our IDOs.
Additionally, to motivate more people to explore this space, we introduced a lottery system where, by participating in any of our IDOs, even if you request a refund, you are automatically entered into a $15,000 lottery.
Attendees were also curious about how we select projects. We explained that we use a careful and thorough vetting process, and that the timing of each launch is planned according to the project’s long-term goals and its alignment with current trends in the Web3 space.
We want every IDO we host to move at its own pace and to welcome investors thoughtfully and strategically.

CoinTerminal has had the pleasure of hosting events worldwide. We have been to universities, and this was a different type of social gathering. We coincided with Istanbul Blockchain Week, which attracted a diverse crowd of professionals, including developers, designers, project founders, and individuals interested in early crypto investing.
It was very interesting to see such an engaged community having open conversations about what the current trends in Web3 are and how CoinTerminal addresses them.
At CoinTerminal, we take note of our community's feedback and implement it to provide the best service and grow as a space for supporting Web3 trends ahead of the public.
At CoinTerminal, we enjoyed hosting this meeting in Istanbul. It sets a new standard for us when it comes to hosting bigger events and also sets a new mood for CoinTerminal meetings.
We have had the pleasure of hosting meetings in academic settings where we exchange ideas, students present projects, and we help them develop and market their ideas. However, the Istanbul meeting was a distinctly different experience. It was a social setting, with DJs, cold beverages, and engaging conversations.
Within this social atmosphere, participants connected with like-minded people, shared ideas, and saw firsthand how CoinTerminal incorporates community feedback to make early investing in Web3 easier and more accessible.
Thank you to all attendees who joined us at the meeting. We look forward to seeing you at the next one.
